Privacy Policy
Last updated July 8, 2026
This policy explains what information inkli collects, how it's used, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible and keep your writing experience calm and private.
What we collect
When you sign up we store your email address and a username, plus optional profile details you choose to add (display name and bio). We store the stories and continuations you write, along with likes and favorites. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic account information from that provider to create your account.
What's public and what's private
Your username and the stories you post (unless posted anonymously) are visible to other signed-in members. Your email address and real name are never shown publicly. Anonymous posts do not display your username.
How we use your information
We use your information to run inkli: to authenticate you, show the daily word, display the community feed, keep your Ink Flow streak, and enforce our content rules. We do not sell your personal information.
Service providers
inkli runs on Lovable Cloud, which provides our database, authentication, and hosting. Your data is stored securely there and protected by access rules that limit who can read it. Sign-in with Google or Apple is handled through their respective services.
Cookies & storage
We use essential browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as your light or dark theme. We don't use advertising trackers.
Your choices
You can edit your profile at any time and post anonymously when you prefer. If you'd like to delete your account and associated data, contact the inkli team and we'll take care of it.
